Remix albums are so twentieth century. Anybody can redo the way their music sounds, but what about the way it looks? Like Domino labelmate Dan Snaith (aka Caribou), Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet) is jumping on the DVD bandwagon with a collection of videos for every song on his latest album.

On November 7 in the UK and January 24 in America, Everything Ecstatic will get dolled up as a DVD/CD package. The set features film shorts for each of the album's tracks, as well as Everything Ecstatic Part 2, a disc of brand new music.

Like so many of these electronic music producer workaholic types, Hebden has, like, a million projects going on right now. He just released the single for "A Joy", featuring remixes by Battles and Koushik, as well as new version of the track with Percee P on vocals. Soul Jazz Records recently released Spirit Walk, a collaboration between Hebden and legendary jazz drummer Steve Reid. Not one but two follow-up albums, entitled The Exchange Sessions Vols 1 + 2, are due next year on Domino.

And, of course, Four Tet is currently on tour in the UK, playing shows with epic post-rockers Explosions in the Sky, turntablist Kid Koala, and, why not, Krautrock behemoths Faust.
